Karen & Brian Knutsen have been photographing and traveling the world together for over 2 decades now. Combining their passion for travel and photography has lead to a unique photographic style which is best described as Social Documentary/Cultural Travel Photography. Their photographs tell stories about the world and the people in it.
Karen has a Bachelor of Tourism & Hospitality Management, with a Certificate in Business Administration from Mount Saint Vincent University in Nova Scotia. This education further enhanced her love of adventure and desire to see more of the world. Then along came Brian and the travel experience was taken to a whole new level!
Brian is a Twin Otter pilot and Aviation Consultant and it's his overseas contracts that provide them the opportunity to explore many exotic destinations around the globe. From Africa to Antarctica, Asia to North America.
Originally from Yellowknife, Northwest Territories Canada, they now have their Canadian base in Rocky Mountains of Southern Alberta.
